Adrenal Medulla on Presor Response of Rabbits to DMPP and TMA

Abstract

|
In urethane-anesthetized, vagotomized and atropinized rabbits, influence of adrenal ligation on the pressor response to DMPP and TMA was examined. The adrenal ligation reduced the response to DMPP but the response was dosedependent. The adrenal ligation did not affect the pressor response to small doses of TMA but reduced markedly the response to larger doses.
